The Malaysian Association of Clinical Biochemists (MACB) will host a pre-conference workshop focused on Method Verification ahead of the ICBMBLM2025 Conference. This half-day workshop brings together experienced professionals to cover key aspects of method evaluation in clinical laboratories. Topics include bias and imprecision, linearity, and common analytical errors flagged by external quality assessment programmes.
Participants will gain practical insights from esteemed speakers including Dr. Loh Tze Ping (Singapore) and Dr. Tony Badrick (Australia). Dr. Loh is a Senior Consultant and Research Director at the National University Hospital Singapore, while Dr. Badrick is the current President of APFCB and CEO of RCPAQAP, with extensive expertise in quality management.
The workshop is an excellent opportunity for laboratory professionals and pathologists to strengthen their understanding of method verification processes and improve laboratory practice.
The IUBMB Education Symposium 2025 will be organized in conjunction with International Meeting-Malaysian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology & Laboratory Medicine (ICBMBLM2025) which brings together passionate scholars, educators, and teachers from around the globe to discuss ideas critical to the development of education in Asia and beyond. This symposium is co-hosted with FAOBMB and MSBMB. The education symposium will have a theme ‘Challenges and Way Forward in Science Education’. This symposium aims to facilitate meaningful discussions and collaborations around current issues, trends, and challenges in STEM education, as well as showcase innovative research and practices. The program will have 3 plenaries, 3 invited and 6 oral speakers, round table discussions and workshops. Join us at IUBMB Education Symposium and ICBMBLM2025.
