The Malaysian Association of Clinical Biochemists (MACB), in collaboration with the Malaysian Association of Private Medical Laboratories (MAPML), will be organising a Pre-Conference Workshop on Method Verification in conjunction with the International Conference of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Laboratory Medicine 2025 (ICBMBLM2025). The workshop will take place on 25 August 2025 at M World Hotel, Petaling Jaya.

This half-day event is designed for clinical laboratory professionals who are involved in method evaluation and quality assurance. Participants will gain practical insights into evaluating bias, imprecision and linearity, as well as managing common analytical errors identified through External Quality Assessment (EQA) programmes.

The programme will feature sessions by renowned speakers including Dr. Loh Tze Ping from Singapore, and Dr. Tony Badrick, the current President of the Asia-Pacific Federation for Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine (APFCB). Their presentations will cover both local and global perspectives on method evaluation in the laboratory setting.
